Factors Causing Unstable Pressure in High Pressure Washers

2023-03-27 10:28:12

Industrial high-pressure washers are devices that use a power system to generate high pressure water through high pressure plunger pumps to clean the surface of objects. It can remove and flush away dirt, achieving the goal of cleaning the surface of objects. As high-pressure water cleaning is considered leading cleaning method globally for scientific research, economic development, and environmental protection. What causes the unstable working pressure of high pressure washers during regular use? The following eight points summarize the reasons:

Factors Causing Unstable Pressure in High Pressure Washers

Nozzle damage, cracking, or clogging can cause changes in the total flow rate and working pressure. However, it is not easy to cause the power cord plastic hose or high-pressure water supply pipe to vibrate.

Damage to the valve core and high-pressure gate valve can cause leaks, resulting in a large amount of water overflowing from the overflow port, a decrease in total flow rate and working pressure at the inlet and outlet.

Failure to close drain valve can cause high-pressure water to leak in multiple packing boxes. Check whether the total flow rate at inlet and outlet of high-pressure water has decreased, whether the working pressure has decreased, and whether the high-pressure hose is vibrating.

The sealing of pressure regulating valve in high-pressure jet cleaning equipment is a common fault, where the sealing ring is squeezed into shape and debris accumulates between valve core and valve sleeve. This causes valve core to have restricted movement and incorrect positioning, resulting in irregular changes in the inlet and outlet working pressure, a large amount of water overflowing from the overflow port, a decrease in the total flow rate at the inlet and outlet of high-pressure water, and a decrease in working pressure. Additionally, there may also be abnormal noise inside the pressure regulating valve.

Improper selection of the nozzle, where the total flow rate of spray nozzle does not match the total flow rate of pump group or speed ratio, can cause severe fluctuations in the working pressure or failure to exceed the set working pressure.

Failure to close inlet valve can cause high-pressure water to leak into the low-pressure system software (direct drinking water system). Check whether the total flow rate at the inlet and outlet of high-pressure water has decreased, whether working pressure has decreased, and whether there is vibration in the water supply pipeline.
