The following describes the maintenance of transmission part of high-pressure washers:
A. After new pump runs for 20 hours for the first time, lubricating oil must be replaced, the oil should be changed every 500 hours, the valves should be replaced every 1000 hours, and plunger seal and gasket should be replaced.
B. Regularly check whether the screws are loose.
C. During the operation of pump, the temperature of lubricating oil shall not be higher than 75°C, and the temperature of conveying medium shall not be higher than 50°C unless otherwise specified. Bearing pad oil temperature rises quickly. If working time is long, cooling measures should be taken.
D. Oil change should be carried out when oil is hot. The old oil should be completely drained, and crankcase should be wiped clean. If any iron filings are found, use adhesive tape to clean them. Do not overfill the oil, otherwise its resistance will increase and oil temperature will increase.
E. For replacement of gears or crankshaft bearing bushes, manufacturer should be notified or a master with mechanical maintenance experience should be asked to repair. The gap between connecting rod, the crankshaft and needle bearing should also be adjusted according to the situation, and it should be repaired by a master with mechanical maintenance experience.
